Festive Film Night at The Good ShepherdSettle in for a cosy Christmas movie on the big screen this Monday 22nd December at 4pm, right here at The Good Shepherd.Enjoy hot chocolate and festive snacks as we gather in church for a festive evening.
On Christmas Eve at 11.30 pm, join us for our Midnight Communion service, a peaceful and reflective time to welcome Christmas Day. As we share bread and wine together, we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the light who shines in the darkness.
Always wanted to be part of a Nativity play? Come along on Christmas Eve at 10.30 am and join in our scratch telling of the very first Christmas story. With drama, carols, and plenty of laughter, it’s a joyful way to celebrate together.
On Sunday, 21st December at 7 pm, join us for our Carols by Candlelight service, a traditional evening of carols and readings, filled with the warmth of candlelight. After the service, festive refreshments will be served, so please stay and share in the joy of the season together.
Join us on Sunday, 21st December at 11 am for our Christingle service, where together we’ll build Christingles and celebrate Jesus as the light of the world. After the service, everyone is warmly invited to stay for tea and coffee, a chance to share fellowship and festive cheer.
Safeguarding Sunday is a national Sunday when churches think about their response to issues of safeguarding as part of their discipleship to Christ. The 11 am Service at TGS on 16th November will be when we join in with this excellent practice and are reminded of our responsibilities to live well the gospel we preach.
