Remembrance Service

On Sunday 9th November at 11am, we will gather at The Good Shepherd to mark Remembrance Day. Together, we will pause in silence to remember those who gave their lives in times of war and conflict, and to pray for peace in our world today.

This service is a time for reflection and community. We will share in worship, remember those who served, and stand alongside one another in hope for a future shaped by peace and reconciliation. All are warmly invited to join us for this important occasion as we remember, together, with reverence and love.

Harvest Service and Lunch

Join us at 11am on Sunday, 26th October to celebrate Harvest. We are having a food collection for our local Foodbank, so if you are able, please bring donations to church either on or before the 26th of October. After the service, stay and join us for a simple lunch together. All are welcome.

NEW – Midweek Communion with Tea and Toast.

Each Thursday morning, we gather at The Good Shepherd for a short and meaningful communion service. It’s a gentle way to pause in the middle of the week, to share in prayer, reflection, and the presence of God together.

After the service, we continue our fellowship over something simple yet special, tea and toast. It’s a chance to sit down, chat, and enjoy one another’s company in a relaxed and friendly setting. Whether you’re a regular member of our congregation or simply curious to join us for the first time, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting. So why not come along this Thursday? Bring a friend, share in communion, and stay for a cuppa and a slice of toast. We’d love to see you there.

Discipleship Bible Study

We’re excited to begin a new 5‑week Bible Study series as we explore together what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus. Each week we’ll open Scripture, share insights, and encourage one another as we grow in faith and practice.

The sessions will take place in the church vestry on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm starting on 17th September. Whether you’ve been part of Bible studies before or this is your very first time, you’ll find a welcoming space to ask questions, reflect, and journey deeper with others.Come along, bring your Bible, and join us as we learn, pray, and walk together in discipleship.

Garden Updates

A regular group of volunteers who meet on Friday mornings during term time have been working on clearing up our grounds and tidying our gardens. They are currently planting a lavender border to edge our grass and attract the bees as part of the steps we are taking to become an eco church.
